(cranking, stalling, driving, and flooring in this clip. contains 3 static pedal views and 1 in-game view. contains simulated pedal pumping in a video game. run time 12 minutes and 25 seconds.) story: my trip to the mall was successful. they had the pink camo flats i had been saving up for and now i'm wearing them for the drive home. the old boat has been running horribly so i knew as soon as i turn the key i was going to have to crank away to get it running. i pump the big floor mounted gas pedal with my ballet flat as i work the ignition hoping for a spark. finally the engine catches and roars to life. i put the car in reverse, back out, stall out, crank, and then am on my way home. i stall at a stop light while heading uphill and work hard to get the car running again. i now go down hill and figure i'm good, but the engine stalls again and this time i have to stand on the brakes since i lost my power brakes. i start cranking away and get the car running, only to stall out at the next stop light. the car stays running for a bit while i head towards the freeway. at a junction the car stalls out again and again i am pumping away at the gas pedal. i get it started and pull onto the freeway where i put the pedal to the metal and get the old car over 100mph. i push the brakes down hard as the tiny brakes aren't enough to slow down the heavy old car. i come to an intersection and a dang minivan cuts me off. i have to push the brake to the floor to avoid the van, but now my car stalled out for what feels like the millionth time. after some more cranking i get the car running and make my way to my house.
